Bill, I agree with Linda and Diane, it is probably an ISP hiccup if had not made any changes to your Outlook. My ISP, Worldnet, on occasion, suffers from this dilemma, and, sometimes, even appends via an attachment, a *.txt version of the message for every message received in that session, even though my default format is set to Plain Text. I have just about given up chasing these intermittent oddities as I find ISPs rarely confess up to anything being wrong on their end. Regards, Christopher J.
