I don't remember...and I can't duplicate it right now..I don't use
outlook..but it would say something like...semi colon won't work..try
comma..then I'd try comma and it would say comma won't work..try semi
colon...I was put in a loop..I looked up all the error messages on the
internet and MS KB...came up with nothing that would help..I might have
even posted on this group about it

..trust me..I spent about 10 hours trying to figure it out..finally gave
up...Outlook 2002 (?) would NOT accept two emails separated by anything..it
wants one at a time...I think I have a memo saved at work with the exact
messages..but I'll have to get it from work on Monday

in the mean time..I think I figured out how to automate the "export as txt"
thing with saved specs..but when I run the macro...it says "cannot update.
Database or object is read-only"..again..looking all over the internet and
MS KB tells me nothing that fixes this problem

I am running WinXP Pro..I am the only log on user and admin...the database
file itself does NOT have a read only tag on it..the folder it is in does
not...etc..I am not sure what else to check within Acess to UN stick the
read only (if this really is the problem..I think it is a random message
that spits out when MS has no clue what is going on)

anyway...how do I get rid of the message and get this macro to work??
thanks
C
