JetComp is an advance (though very easy to use) utility provided free from
Microsoft for compacting and repairing Jet databases (included, of course,
Access). JetComp will clean up and repair problems the standard Access
Compact and Repair function just can't do. Download it and try it; I think
you'll be very happy with the results. Not saying that's all that's wrong
with your DB, but it'd be as good a place to start as any. You can find more

I'm pretty sure no one has messed with the DB and I've never heard of
JetComp. I do regular compact and repair...guess it didn't help. What
will JetComp do for me Jim?

If what you say is certain -- that nobody has monkeyed with the DB --
this sounds like a typical case of corruption. Have you run JetComp
(available from Microsoft) against the DB anytime recently?
