I have been trying to figure out how to do that for some
time also and have basically concluded that there is
NO easy way. I have tried this and it works - kind of???

Sometimes there is a space before the hard return
and sometimes not - all in the same article or even
in the same paragraph. Using find/replace, replace
all carriage returns with a space AND carriage return.
Now replace all space-space-c/r with space-c/r.
Set the find replace to replace a c/r with nothing and
hilight all of a paragraph exept the last line and do a
'"replace all" and that paragraph will be done. You will
have to repeat it for each paragraph in the article.

Another idea I have is to replace a c/r-c/r (which
would indicate the end of a paragraph) with something
like c-/r-xyz-c/r. Then replace all c/r's (assuming that
each is preceded by a space) with nothing. Then
replace all instances of xyz (or whatever delimiter
you used) with 2 carriage returns to restore the
paragraph breaks.

The problem I find is there is always some special
circumstance of line configuration that gets screwed
up by trying to automate the process.

Good luck!!!!!!!!!!
