True on the same person thingy...but Select is the same as =
Enterprise...just
much higher volume for Enterprise. I was licensing manager for
Morningstar.com and I negotiated their first Select licensing with =
MS...so I
went through ALL that stuff for weeks trying to learn it and then =
explain it
to, ahem...bosses!<g>

Granted, I know the licensing has been modified over the last two years =
and
I haven't paid as much attention as I did then...so it might be somewhat
different now???

But thanks for adding that clarification...that IS an important fact!

Dian,

Just to clarify - the owner of the software, the desktop, AND the =3D =
notebook
all have to be the same.

Also, what you described as Select is Enterprise - Select is a-la-carte.

The only exception is that...now, MS allows one Office installation on =
=3D =3D3D
your main desktop PC and you can use that same software to install =3D =
another
=3D3D copy on your "mobile device"...usually a laptop. So you could buy =
one =3D
copy of Office and install on your home PC and also your laptop to take
along...that's legal. Just not multi copies in one office...unless you =
=3D =3D3D
buy a special licensing package.
