LOL Lexi the dog huh hmmm well thankfully Lexi isn't my real =
name...thats
Liz...don't think there's too many dogs names Liz lol whew lol
Thanks for the liscensing clarification
lexi

Glad you got it working. (And sorry to tell you that I just got a new =
=3D
puppy and her name is Lexi!<g> But think of it this way...I LOVE the
name!<smile>).

As for licensing...when you buy ANY software, you don't pay for the =3D =
whole
CD of sorts, but rather for the license to use ONE copy. However, in =
office
settings, you can sometimes purchase "seat licenses." In that case, they
might send you only one copy of the CD, such as Macromedia would do with
Dreamweaver. Then you get a paper license that allows you, say 10
installations. So in that kind of case, yes you COULD install one CD on =
=3D 10
PCs.=3D20

But MS doesn't work that way any longer. You can get volume licenses, =
=3D but
the minimum is much higher. You could get an open license and pay a =3D =
little
less per install...or get Select licensing for higher volume, where they
send you all their software and you pay per whatever you install. But
anything you'd purchase under about 500 licenses would be standard one
license purchase per install.

The only exception is that...now, MS allows one Office installation on =
=3D
your main desktop PC and you can use that same software to install =
another =3D
copy on your "mobile device"...usually a laptop. So you could buy one =
copy
of Office and install on your home PC and also your laptop to take
along...that's legal. Just not multi copies in one office...unless you =
=3D buy
a special licensing package.
