Glad you got it working. (And sorry to tell you that I just got a new =
puppy
and her name is Lexi!<g> But think of it this way...I LOVE the
name!<smile>).

As for licensing...when you buy ANY software, you don't pay for the =
whole CD
of sorts, but rather for the license to use ONE copy. However, in office
settings, you can sometimes purchase "seat licenses." In that case, they
might send you only one copy of the CD, such as Macromedia would do with
Dreamweaver. Then you get a paper license that allows you, say 10
installations. So in that kind of case, yes you COULD install one CD on =
10
PCs.=20

But MS doesn't work that way any longer. You can get volume licenses, =
but
the minimum is much higher. You could get an open license and pay a =
little
less per install...or get Select licensing for higher volume, where they
send you all their software and you pay per whatever you install. But
anything you'd purchase under about 500 licenses would be standard one
license purchase per install.

The only exception is that...now, MS allows one Office installation on =
your
main desktop PC and you can use that same software to install another =
copy
on your "mobile device"...usually a laptop. So you could buy one copy of
Office and install on your home PC and also your laptop to take
along...that's legal. Just not multi copies in one office...unless you =
buy a
special licensing package.

Oh good lord lol we didn't need the reg key to uninstall obviously....we
needed it upon reinstallation .....all cd's are in a folder type thing =
=3D and
some idiot threw away the cd covers. At any rate they each have =3D =
different
versions of office so my idea wouldn't have worked. I'd mistakenly =3D =
thought
you could have a copy on each computer in an office setting....my bad I
dind't know.....at any rate yes of coarse it's a legal copy this is an
office setting she works in....anywho her computer guy had the reg =3D =
number
I suggested she print it onto the cd itself Thanks Lexi

Dian,

You're so much more diplomatic than I am!

I was going to ask why you need a key to uninstall (among other
questions...)

The installation KEY is usually on the back of the CD case for the =
=3D3D3D
program. Pssst...did you know that it's illegal to install one version =
=3D on
=3D3D3D =3D3D multiple PC, under most circumstances...unless one is a =
=3D laptop?

Don't know what your circumstances are...but if it's a LEGAL copy and =
=3D =3D3D
=3D3D3D you have properly registered it, you can call MS and they'll =
give you
=3D =3D3D3D =3D3D another key. You can call 800-936-5700 and explain =
that you
can't find =3D the key =3D3D =3D3D3D and need to reinstall.

However...if this is already installed/registered on another system...I
wouldn't suggest you call Microsoft!

Good luck!
