Hi Dian

Still no joy. I deleted all the C:\Windows\Temp files and all the
C:\Documents and Settings\david\Local Settings\Temp files. (5000 odd) but I
still get the prompt. 139 items have come back in 2 days.

I really think it is somewhere else. The only thing I do wonder about is
the Windows Live Toolbar. I might just uninstall Windows Live and see if
that makes a difference. At least I would avoid that wait while it works
out how to set up the places bar each time I want to open or close anything.
I had expected to use Windows Live but in practice I don't.

Best Regards
