I think the easiest way to fix it would be to hit ctrl+a to select all, then
change the background to white and the font to your Normal font. I'm not
sure this has to do with Styles, since I find it hard to believe that the
original document had a style set for black text on a black background, but
who knows

Is this stuff laid out in tables? Maybe the table cell backgrounds are set
to black?

I'm not sure exactly why it is happening, since I can't see the actual
document, but ctrl+a and changing all that way is probably the quickest and
easiest fix.

Subject: [mso] Problem with word paragraphs

Hi All,

Please can someone suggest a fix for my paragraphs problem. I have a
word document of about 40 pages. I have brought in some quotes from
external sources to enhance it for a project I am doing. Since having
brought in the outside text, down through parts of the document some
paragraphs have both black text on a black background and the fonts are
different than what I am using in the main document which is times new
roman size 12.

I think it was the introduction of outside text pieces that seems to
have altered the document but can anyone suggest what I can do to fix
this and perhaps avoid it in the future.

Sincerely and many thanks,

Paul.
