You should be able to use

ActiveDocument.BuiltInDocumentProperties("Last Print Date")

It returns a string(I think) with the date and time the doc was last
printed.

Yes Word does prompt you to save a file again if it's been printed since the
last save. What I'm wondering is if there's anyway to search for documents
based on when it was printed. I do actually save it again once it's been
printed!
