It's Windows\temp I'm thinking of.

Also look for any other folders called temp - not so likely to slow you 
down, but could be wasting space.

From what I've seen, the actual size of your Outlook file doesn't seem to 
make much difference, performance-wise.  The size of the individual mail 
folders inside it does make a difference to some extent when you open them.
