If you don't use the journal I would try turning it off and see what
happens.

Any possibility you might have a virus / malware infestation?

Is the slowdown only apparent in Outlook?

Subject: [mso] Outlook 2003, really slow

Hi,

Outlook is running really slow on my pc and I am wondering if there is some
special maintenance that should be run?

I just finished checking the properties of my Personal Folders, here are the
results...

Total Size...342,532 KB

Inbox...1411 KB
Sent items....43,474 KB
X-Save.....288,573 KB

Could the size of my Personal Folders be causing a slow down? Also I
noticed that Journal is turned on, does that slow Outlook down?

This is running on WinXP Home SP2

Thanks for any help.

Debbie
