I've never used CC Cleaner, but if it's like other registry cleaners, if you run it again, there should be an option in there to restore the registry from that backup, and it should find it for you. If you search your hard drive for "startup" (without the quotes), it should find your Word Startup folder. Linda ********************************* Linda F. I donwloaded CCleaner. In using this software it suggested that I clean the registry. When I clicked on it, it made a backup copy of the registry. It made the copy so fast that I did not see where it was saved to. I can't find it. I then attempted to open MS Word (Office Pro 2000). The only thing that happens is the blue logo apprears on the screen. I have tried the normal.dot. This did not work. I have uninstalled and re-installed the software. Still does not work. I can open Word via winword.exe /a. I was told to go to the Word startup folder. I don't know how to find it. I am using XP Pro. Can anyone out there help me.
