This is what has taken place.
I donwloaded CCleaner. In using this software it suggested that I clean the
registry. When I clicked on it, it made a backup copy of the registry. It made
the copy so fast that I did not see where it was saved to. I can't find it.
I then attempted to open MS Word (Office Pro 2000). The only thing that happens
is the blue logo apprears on the screen.
I have tried the normal.dot. This did not work.
I have uninstalled and re-installed the software. Still does not work.
I can open Word via winword.exe /a.
I was told to go to the Word startup folder. I don't know how to find it.
I am using XP Pro.
Can anyone out there help me.
Thanks
Steve
