Ahhh...sorry...I forgot that wasn't added to Excel until Excel 2002

Can't remember tho, but if you format the column in Excel 2000 as Text
(highlight column, Format menu>Cells>Number tab> choose "Text"), do they
still come in as Hyperlinks?

  This works in Word, but in Excel, all that shows when I choose Autocorrect
Opeions, is Autocorrect for spelling.  And the only thing that comes up in
AutoFormat are ways to show calendars.
