Linda,
This works in Word, but in Excel, all that shows when I choose Autocorrect
Opeions, is Autocorrect for spelling. And the only thing that comes up in
AutoFormat are ways to show calendars.

If you want to set up Word or Excel NOT to turn hyperlinks into Hyperlinks,
go into the Tools menu in both programs, and go to Autocorrect Options...in
there, on the Autoformat As You Type tab, there's a check you can remove
that says to convert network and internet paths into hyperlinks (depending
on your version, in some of the programs, this may appear on the Autoformat
as you Type AND the Autoformat tabs...if so, remove it from both)
If you do this BEFORE you put the email addies in there, they won't be
converted into hyperlinks
