A program? Or a file?
I assume you mean an Excel file? What version of Excel?
Try this....open the file and hit ctrl+a to select all....see if Excel
is selecting empty cells past where you think the data should end....if
so, clear those cells. (Highlight them all and go to the Edit menu and
choose Clear>All
Let us know if that doesn't fix it.

I have a problem. With no additional programming, e.g. adding VBA
modules, a program that was 1 meg has bloated to 2.6 meg after closing.
Has anyone ever seen this? The 1 meg size has been stable for 6 months,
but yesterday when a fellow employee closed the program, it had jumped
in size to 2.6 meg!
