Yep, FP will work with FTP just fine. Unfortunately, many folks get it to get at those extensions and believe everything else will be kosher, too. It isn't very often. Much as I hate FTP in general, it still seems to work best unless you are coding COM objects for the web and then FP isn't the tool you need either.
