So I tried Dreamweaver and loved it. I use Dreamweaver 4 mostly, although I do have the MX suite. See how much I love it...I have FrontPage free, but would rather spend hundreds of dollars on the MX suite. So I use Dreamweaver and Flash. Then I use Paint Shop Pro for my graphics and usually jump over to Microsoft Visual InterDev to code up ASP pages with VBScript and ADO for databases, although Dreamweaver MX now supports ASP color coding, so I don't use InterDev as much anymore. Dreamweaver 4 didn't color code the VBScript, so it was a pain to read cos' it was all gray. That's why I'd use InterDev cos' I could read the code easier and use text sensitive help to write the code easier. It depends on whether I'm writing new code or fixing code I'm familiar with. If it's new stuff, I still use InterDev to make sure I get it right since it has better proofing for VB. If it's just working with code I know well, I stay in Dreamweaver. FrontPage isn't bad, but the extensions make the process much more difficult that is necessary and moving a site is a pain, whereas Dreamweaver is a breeze to setup FTP and moving a site is no work at all cos' DW offers to fix everything for you. I love it and currently run about 12 sites with it. Although I won't be sneaking away like Linda<smirk>...I have two clients who both want their new web site launched by Jan 1. So while Linda is away playing, I'll be buried with my face plastered to my monitor...and turning off lots of support email. If I don't come up for air...have a great holidays folks and enjoy the time away, Linda!
