I was implying that what was available as the PC then doesn't compare at all favorably with today's version and that those other platforms were one helluva lot closer to what we have come to expect than was an XT or even an AT. When you look at it that way, the entire Microsoft/Intel combo still being alive and dominant today is just miraculous!
