<Copy> I know several people who have genealogy information that they have saved as Excel files, but this poster seems to want to go the other way. Have you tried opening the files in Excel and see what you get? <End> I tried one, and it really was garbage. Think (*^%^&()&)^%, box characters, high ascii characters, etc. What I am attempting to do is take a bona fide Excel CVS file, and convert it to a Gedcom. Then use my genealogy program to open that Gedcom. Seems like this route is a dead end. Thank you anyway everyone.
