You can run the query automatically when the database is opened by adding
it to autoexec macro. Is that what you were looking for? What is your
connection string? I have seen a couple of ways to connect with a
username/password.

                      "Glenda Wells"

Hi All.

I want to do a pass-thru query to extract Oracle data but I'd like it to
run automatically when the DB is opened. I can't store the password or
username in the query because several may use it. Is this possible?

I can make a pass thru query in query design but don't know how to make
it always happen and prompt for the password and username.
