Hi Don,

When I was in the toolroom years ago we used to send out our mag chucks
from the grinding machines regularly for re magnetization=2E As I recall
there was a local firm that would clean and remag them for about $50=2E00 =
and
when they came back they were like new=2E You might enquire at a local too=
l
and die shop as to where they get theirs done=2E You might find a local
service that will fix it cheaply if you show up with a tray of coffees at
the back door and tell them what you're doing=2E

Cheers Jeff Dayman

Don, if I were you, I would at least contact the
manufacturer and get a quote on what it would take to
bring it up to working order=2E Might only need the
magnets replaced=2E
