The size of the ones I've just done, the lathe wasn't an option. So they
were water jet cut close to size, and then finished in the milling machine
with a boring head before pushing the (ball) bearings in.

What is the concensus about making holes in conrods?Does the team still
mount them on the lathe faceplate to drill/bore/ream the big end and little
end holes, or do folks use the milling machine to perform the same
job?DaveSaudi-Arabia-On-Sea
