Hi All,

Gave up on having any of my boilers tested by either the Northern or
Southern Feds when one of their inspectors refused to accept and made a
right song and dance about it on a three month old boiler certificate on an
brand new boiler/loco because my club was not in the federation.
My club was around & doing boiler tests long before the federations were
dreamed up & my boiler inspector was qualified which is more than I can say
for a lot of them who only get the job because they stick their hand up at
the AGM. Half the federation inspectors I have met have never heard of, or
seen dezincification for instance.
