Have you been able to access the router firmware to check dhcp and wich
clients are assigned wich ip addresses?
If you believe the router is set to dhcp maybe turn of the power to the
ruter for a few minutes, turn off the mac. Start the router wait a minute
and turn on the mac.

My compute reworks, and its settings, including IP addresses, are now
identical. Mine is set to automatically obtain an IP from the router; hers
was too, but I manually reset the IP to 192.168.0.1, same as mine. IP6 is
now set to automatic, and the panels look exactly the same on both our
computers. Still, hers does not connect.
