Dear Shaun,The new JAWS 8.0 works just fine with Vista. The same version works with all five versions of Vista. There are some new features for reading tables, and using IE or Firefox. The current version of VO is not quite as functional on the internet as JAWS, but the one coming in October(os 10.5) should be a big improvement. The price of the JAWS upgrade, which you will need if you use Vista, is dependent on how far back your version is; an upgrade from 6.0 will cost more than an upgrade from 7.0. If you can stay with XP it will be a big money savings for you. One of my students just got the upgrade from 5.5 to 8.0 of JAWS and it cost him $550. That is a lot of money. But he had to have the upgrade to use it with Vista.
