Hi,
In menus under view try sort by and see if you can find something that you like.

Hmmm. And they’re not draggable? I’ve never reordered folders within mail,
only from Finder, so if there’s no context menu (VO Shift M) or an option to
drag and drop them from within the Mailbox menu (VO M, right arrow to
Mailbox, down arrow), then I’m out of suggestions.

Hi Mark, I figured that much about the new folders being called new
mailboxes. I don’t want to move the folders outside of the mail app, within
the mail app just in a different order, also some of the new folders have
been created for example below deleted items or sent items and some above
and from what I can see there is no alphabetical order. So I’d like to move
them in an order that makes more sense to me.

New mailboxes, which are just folders with a different name, are created
within the “on my Mac,” directory. Where do you want to put them? You can’t
move them outside the Mail app, at least I don’t think you can; maybe you
could from Terminal, but I don’t know off the top of my head how you’d go
about that.

Hi everyone hope you are doing well, I wanted to create new folders on the
native mail app on the Mac so that I may sort mail that I do not want to
delete, such things as receipts, recipes, etc.
The only thing I was able to find was new mailbox and new smart mailbox.
I chose new mailbox. I was successful in creating my new folders however I
don’t like where these new folders/mailbox have been placed and I would
like to move them around. I tried drag and drop but voiceover says failed
to drop.
Does anybody have any ideas of how I can move these folders?
I’m running Catalina on a late 2013 iMac
Thank you for any help in advanced.
