Hi everyone, Just wanted to let you all know that I figured out what was going on with the Dictation app on my iPhone. I had gone into the settings and chose "Automatically detect end of speech" thinking that whenever I paused, the app would begin a new sentence. Instead, what this setting does is, when you pause speaking, it turns off the recording. So, I was speaking a bit and whenever I paused too long the recording was turned off. After turning this setting off, all is well. You can dictate quite a lot in 30 seconds!! <smile> Thanks, Russell On 2010-08-21, at 9:01 AM, Keith Reedy wrote: > Hi Russell, > > I think this app is designed to be used for a text message, or, a short > e-mail.
