I’m not sure about the newest version of Apple TV. I have yet to purchase
it. I hope to do so after the New Year. Maybe, there is someone else on the
list who currently owns the 4th generation.

Ah, but before you go, could you shed some light on the situation with
Apple TV perhaps?
I'm told it comes with accessibility issues which could very well be
carried over on to Mac OS and iOS. Something with sometype of class or
object or some such.

I don’t want to stray way off topic from this list, so suffice it to say
that I do agree with you. It’s a soap box I’d rather not jump onto.

To stay on topic, it’s one of the reasons that drew me and draws me to
Apple. Their commitment to accessibility and their out of the box
accessibility. As I have told some people privately, when I was contracted
by Apple, the one thing I can tell you for sure is that there is definitely
an awareness and a commitment to accessibility from their products to their
web content. It’s a mantra that was preached quite extensively while I was
there. I can say no more than that they have weekly or biweekly
accessibility meetings throughout the company specific to their departments
and major accessibility meetings among departments as well.

So, let’s leave it at that.

I’m not surprised. As I said, I’ve written their tech support about a
number of matters, including changing the list ownership to me, and not
a
response has come. I will most likely be moving the list in January,
but
I’ll talk about it then and, hopefully, you all will have to do
nothing
on your end.

I
have IOS, now, but back then?

Hi Joseph,
Thank you for the suggestion. This might be the solution. I might
contact you after the holidays to assist in moving us over there. As
I
said, Freelists is fine, but they do not communicate and I don't
like
some of the accessibility shortcomings in the admin control panel.
I
cannot apparently subscribe people manually any more if they are
having
difficulties, for example.

It could be Freelists. I've seen that happen with a few messages

other subscribers and though I've written to them about a bunch of

list to another free service, but I don't have the technical
ability
to do it myself and I wouldn't really know what service to use at
this point. This list is still actually owned by someone who isn't
even involved with the Apple community all that much any more, but
I
can't get the jabrones at Freelists to switch ownership to me ...,
let alone respond to my messages through their contact address.
