Eric Yost: "'A lot of you may remember,' on the other hand, is almost as bad as 'some of you may remember.' Context does nothing to alleviate the gaffe." The word 'may' is nowhere to be found in Obama's original quote. Does that make a difference, Eric? I find Eric's comments interesting in that he seems to suggest that all Americans _should_ know where they were when they heard about the attacks of 9/11. That is, if an American of sound mind does not remember where they were, they are some how morally deficient. I would be interested in Eric's explanation of why all Americans should know where they were on 9/11.
