I'd direct you to Wikipedia, but then you'd miss the reference here to deep fried jam butties, deep fried frozen pizza, and the blether from "The Scotsman" about "Londoners recently voted it the 6th best Scottish invention while Scots didn't include it in their top 10 at all.."
