This is what I really hate about being dead. All these fascinating things will
be known but I won't know about it.
The weapons you mention are different in degree. Atomic weapons are an entire
new category of weaponry. The numbers killed and the long term effects of too
much radiation are either unknown, or, what is known about them, is horrific.
Especially considering that there has never been a weapon invented that had not
been used.
