"One can support the war on terror without supporting the teaching of creationism, for example. One can value DEM takes on social issues without honoring their maladroit views on Iraq"

>>it's called paranoia.

It's called, not by professionals but by me, "Yielding Ontic-Univalent Aliquant-Regressive Existential Anamorphic Nihilistic Atypical Stereotyping Symposiast Holistic Organizational Labeling Excess."

Acronyms aside, the condition is easily cured by critical thinking. We have the freedom to be persuaded of the truths of a particular political "party line," without buying the whole package. One can support the war on terror without supporting the teaching of creationism, for example. One can value DEM takes on social issues without honoring their maladroit views on Iraq.
