I think you are going way too deep on this one JL -- but that's what makes 
this all fun, right?

This line reminded me of when (on Seinfeld) George, Jerry and Kramer were 
in a Sauna and Kramer exclaims "wooo. it's like a SAUNA in here"

A close relative is Steven wright's question "I wonder what sliced bread 
was the best thing since?"
