I cannot reproduce this. See the following transcript using liblouis
from svn (the faulty table is just a regular table with some random
garbage that I created):
~/src/liblouis $ ./tools/lou_checktable tables/en-GB-g2.ctb
No errors found.
~/src/liblouis $ ./tools/lou_checktable -q tables/en-GB-g2.ctb
~/src/liblouis $ ./tools/lou_checktable tables/en-GB-g2.faulty.ctb
en-GB-g2.faulty.ctb:145: Dots operand not specified.
en-GB-g2.faulty.ctb:146: opcode 'ro' not defined.
2 errors found.
Cannot find tables/en-GB-g2.faulty.ctb
~/src/liblouis $ ./tools/lou_checktable -q tables/en-GB-g2.faulty.ctb
