I saw "Days of Heaven" movie [Richard Gere, Brooke Adams, from about 1978]
this past weekend, first time in 15 or so years since I'd seen it.
Quite a few old ''thrashers'' in it, but best of all some of the most
beautiful scenes/scenery
of any movie that I can recall. Nestor Almendros [sp?] was the
cinematographer and he really had a good eye for color and mood.
There's an annual Thrashers show in Adams, Tennessee [about 40 + miles north
of Nashville]. It's always held on the hottest, most humid weekend of the
year.
