I, emphatically, prefer the first crop -no question. I think that it tells the complete story and that the cowboy, in mid air, is crucial to that story. Without the mid-air cowboy, it's just a bull shot -no homonyn intended- but, with the cowboy it is complete. I offer you two visions of the same image. I started with this image... http://www.furnfeather.net/Temps/Exit-1.html and it fits my criteria for a decent rodeo shot... But then I tried a tighter crop, to eliminate the chap on the left. http://www.furnfeather.net/Temps/Exit-2.html It is, I think, more dramatic, but for me, it leaves too much space, on the left and the action leads the eye out of the picture. I can't decide on which is the better crop. Your thoughts on the subject, appreciated. -- David Young - Photographer Logan Lake, CANADA Wildlife: www.furnfeather.net Personal: www.main.furnfeather.net A micro-lender through www.Kiva.org. ------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: http://www.lrflex.furnfeather.net/ Archives are at: //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/ ------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: http://www.lrflex.furnfeather.net/ Archives are at: //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/
