Like you, Art, I wouldn't give up my 6T (bought used for $20 inc. tax from= a dealer who didn't know what he had!) for anything. Results with the= Leitz ELPRO's and 50 Summicron are better, however. This, I think, is= because the 6T (as with most close-up lenses) is designed to work with any= number of lenses. The ELPRO VIa & VIb were computed to work with only the= 1st version of the 50 Summicron. (The Elpro 1 & 2 are the E55 versions for= the 2nd version of the 50/2.) Because they were only for use with one= lens, they were heavily optimized. I have an article on this coming out in, I understand, the next issue of= the LHSA's Viewfinder magazine.
