I have a problem with this image. Nice composition, nice color, but...Subjects in a photograph are sharp. Non-subjects are better when not sharp because one's brain tends to dismiss un-sharpness as not important.
My eyes immediately focus on the tree and I have a lot of trouble paying attention to the flag.
