Ok, i have a linksys WPC11v3 card, which i installed the wirelessdriver driver for, then i installed kismac with patch. I then changed the MAC on the card... This caused an instant OS problem requiring a reboot.... Any time I inserted the card, with new MAC, I would instantly be forced to do a hard reboot... I solved this by running kismac, and hten inserting the card, and changing the mac to the factory setting. Worked just fine. I was able to recreate the problem using variations of this.. any time OSX tried to load the card, the comp required a hard reboot... At no time durring this was i able to "re-inject" packets... I got a " i am not happy" message that appeared that only one card was seen by kismac...... I am running kismac 0.05b, ( same results under what ever is listed as stable on maintaners site... i move to "untested" to see if this has been addressed) airport card (not extreme) OS 10.2.6 linksys WPC11v3 card ( supposedly a prism2 card, and seems to behave like one in most respects) towards the end of this, i managed to cause a reboot to be needed while "wirelessMAC" was running... now i cannot run the program to change the mac to factory...... I get a " program terminated" error... even after i removed, reinstalled the program..... Thanks for the GREAT work on this project... Let me know if i can help in any way.... jeff chapin
