to connect on the other wi-fi networks, etc. ? ) what driver should i use ? I try belikin
driver and IOexperts driver and they don't work.
Thx all.
Best bet is the D-Link DWL-122 driver, but you will have to hack it. First install it.
Then open package contents on both intersil drivers in the Extensions folder.
Icarus:/System/Library/Extensions lupsyn$ ls -la | grep ntersil
Icarus:/System/Library/Extensions lupsyn$ ls -la | grep ntersil drwxr-xr-x 3 root wheel 102 9 Sep 2003 Intersil Prism2.kext drwxr-xr-x 3 root wheel 102 9 Sep 2003 IntersilBase.kext Icarus:/System/Library/Extensions lupsyn$
Then open Info.plist in both of the open Contents folders with either BBEdit or the Property List Editor.
Then duplicate the IOKitPersonality for the DWL. Give it a name, and then replace its vendor and product IDs with the ones for your device as gotten from Apple System Profiler. What ? i don'nt understand this things, i must see in the apple profiler what ?
Throw away the kextcache and reboot.
It's complicated, but it works with the Syntax wireless USB Prism2 device, so it may well work for yours.
