P.S. Since most of the house plumbing is run with (acrylic? vinyl? PVC?)
non-conductive flexible pipes, I want to point out that my shack does NOT
use house plumbing as a ground. I actually have a thick braid of copper
wire running out my shack window to a galvanized stake driven (admittedly
not terribly deep) into the ground.
