[JA] empty message first

The empty message usually arrives as the first. Not always. You missed
nothing. Especially when Juno is delivering ads, the order of messages
is perturbed.
Every now and again I do a round robin download of my mail. I send a
message to a list of exactly the accounts I keep on this machine and an
echo responder.
They don't always arrive in order. Even though I send them as quickly as
I can switch accounts they don't necessarily arrive as a group, even when
I go around twice without pause. Especially on those days ads arrive.
