Posting >anything on Usenet is by far the top spam-bait activity. ------ Virtually all the email - well over 99% - from this system is to and from various lists. I've .occasionally. posted this address when using Internet from the library or my sister's. My sister doesn't do any lists and probably doesn't average half a dozen messages a week. I always worry about spam to her system from what I've done but I don't think she's receiving any spam at all. I've somehow found myself receiving spam from time to time. As I told Brian, I don't need Viagra! I don't recall any messages for X-rated sites on this account though I did receive some (probably a majority of spam received though the amount probably wasn't that great) via BBS. The greatest annoyance has been genealogy-related spams. Not that many but, of course, I can't find out how they obtained my email address. I do sometimes visit genealogy sites when I do Internet.
