Yes, it works with jaws, but it in no way is an adequate replacement for Sygate. They're not the same type of product at all, even though both call themselves a "firewall". The Windows firewall only prevents connections which originate from outside your pc from reaching it. In my opinion, these are hardly worth bothering about. Sygate prevented those which originated from within your pc (those that can include spyware, trosian horses, and the like) from getting out unless you ok it. I never have any trouble reading the dialog, so I'm not sure why you did. The trouble with Sygate however is that most folks don't know whether to answer it's constants questions with a yes or a no answer.
