Hi,As I see it, it comes down to one's personal preference. There are times when I want screen layout, and times that I want simple layout. I might want screen layout in a situation where I'm looking at flight itineraries at travelocity.com, for example. In a situation like that, I'm comparing a variety of flights offered by different airlines, each of which might have the same departure times, but varying numbers of layovers and so on. I find that screen layout lets me compare them at a glance by taking in a row at a time. If I have to do that by looking at a cell at a time, I can lose perspective. I don't know if that makes sense to you, but to me it seems analogous to a visual comparison when I can quickly peruse each row simply by pressing the down arrow and having the row read instantly.
