Also you should note that programs that don't work off the shelf can be
customized to do so with some scripting. There are a number of scripters
out there who would be perfectly willing to assist you. some of them will
charge a small fee, while others may get you going as part of a promotional
service. I myself if it is for personal use. Will look at a program free of
charge, However, if it is a script created for a company I of course would
like to see some reimbursement.

You've just gotta try the programs.
Lots of programs not in jaws help are perfectly useable by a screenreader
user, whether you need to use jaws cursering or not.
