Very easy, I can help you with this if you like?

You have a Microsoft Windows XP CD?

Here are some very quick instructions:

  1. Insert CD in to drive.
  2. copy your unattended script to a floppy disk if you have one.
  3. Boot up the PC and press the space bar when prompted to boot from CDROM.
  4. As soon as it starts reading from the Microsoft Windows CD, put in your
floppy disk, the install will start and then look for your answer file on the
floppy disk. Once the floppy disk file has been read, you can take it out. I
normally wait to hear the drive start up,wait for a few minutes then tak the
disk out.
It should just install now. Be careful because any information on the drive
wil be lost.

  these are very quick instructions.

No real answer to this one apart from you could try it and see.
sometimes the plug and play will allow it to boot up in the new machine
but in my opinion, it wouldn't be a very clean way to do it.
What is wrong with doing an unattended installation on the other machine?

can just put it into a computer? I know the drivers won't be their, but I know
where to get those. the computer is an old gate way.
