Now that you mention it I sorta recall this fact. I have not used it because
I do not want to take the chance that I can not get JAWS going again. As I
also recall once you silence JAWS then you need to unsilence it before JaWS
will ever speak again.

So far as I know this keystroke does *NOT* unload a goofed up JAWS.

Cy, Devona is right that this key sequence silences JAWS. I believe it
toggles the synthesizer off and on. It isn't a keystroke I've used, but
JAWS's insert-1 key help confirms it. I'm not sure, however, that it
actually unloads JAWS. As you know, insert-Windows key-F4 is the key combo
that removes JAWS from memory, which is what is needed when the voice gets
coy or upset.

Insert plus windows key plus F4. It will take jaws out of memory.

Could someone please send the keystrokes to end jaws? Not the insert+f4, but
the one that ends it abruptly.

I've seen it on this site before, and I promise to store it away somewhere
so I don't have to ask for it again.

Many thanks.
